A new bus service from Torrequebrada / Benalmadena Costa to Malaga airport has been inaugurated,
Avenida Gamonal has regained a bus service after the demise of the L1 orange bus a few years ago. The Benalmadena Pueblo and Mijas services, M112 and M121and M126 have has been re-routed from Carril del Siroco / Avenida Bonanza to Avenida Garcia Lorca and Avenida Gamonal with stops at Paloma Park, Plaza Jupiter, Minerva apartments and Agata apartments.The Carola service, M124, now serves Carril del Siroco and Avenida Bonanza.
The half hourly train service from Fuengirola to Malaga serving Benalmadena/Arroyo station is now a 20 minute service. Timetable here.
